What you get

The rules, in plain words

The full version is in the partner terms.

Completed orders only
A reward counts when a person you referred completes their first order of at least S$15: delivered, confirmed and paid out to the seller. Sign-ups and installs alone do not pay.
A 14-day hold
Each reward waits 14 days after the order completes, in case of a late dispute or refund, then moves to your wallet.
New people only
They must create their Tela account through your link or code, and be new to Tela (an account under 7 days old with no completed order). Existing users do not count.
One of each per person
Each person you refer can earn you one buyer reward and one seller reward, once.
Always disclose
Label every post that carries your link or code as advertising, for example #ad at the start of the caption.
No self-referrals
Your own accounts, and orders between people you referred, do not earn rewards. We check, and we review anything that looks linked.

Partner questions

How much do Tela partners earn?

S$10 for each new seller and S$5 for each new buyer you refer, paid once their first order of at least S$15 completes. There is no cap on how many people you can refer. Some partners are offered higher rates, and time-limited bonuses appear in your dashboard.

Do I need a lot of followers?

No. We look at whether your audience cares about fashion and would shop or sell second-hand, not only at follower counts. Tell us honestly where you post and who follows you.

When and how do I get paid?

Once a referred person’s first order completes, the reward is held for 14 days and then credited to your Tela wallet. From there you withdraw to your Singapore bank account in the Tela app, the same way sellers do. A one-time Stripe identity check happens at your first withdrawal.

What counts as a completed order?

An order that was paid, delivered and released to the seller from escrow, without a refund or an open dispute. Cancelled and refunded orders do not count.

Can I see who signed up through my link?

No. To protect their privacy under the PDPA, your dashboard shows counts, amounts and statuses only, never names, usernames or contact details.

Do I have to label my posts?

Yes. Under the Singapore Code of Advertising Practice, a post that earns you a reward is advertising. Put a clear label such as #ad at the start of the caption or on screen, not hidden in a block of hashtags.

Do I need to be verified?

Yes. Partners verify their identity once with Singpass before approval. It is the same check every Tela seller does, and it keeps rewards tied to real people.

Do I pay tax on my rewards?

Rewards are income, and you are responsible for declaring them to IRAS. Tela may report payments to IRAS where the law requires it.
